Due to time constraints, I did review it beforehand so I would have a better idea of what to say and get through it more quickly. Wow! You’re very clever. The Word Surge was my hardest. I attempted to do it at hard mode, but I couldn’t make words without messing up the ones I previously made.
I even found medium difficulty troublesome as well.
I guess my brain isn’t that good at puzzles like this one.

Ah, yes, sorry. I sort of forgot that you could go diagonaly, meaning you could make Bacon and Bones link, then make Blurb diagonaly.
… yeah, I **** at these word puzzles.

Well, you’re missing the case where BACON and BONES share the B instead, so you would have to disprove that possibility first.

I think the most immediately fruitful analysis comes from pointing out single letters used more than once, such as the C and the U. The single U is at the middle of one word and the start of another, so it must be placed in the middle position of an edge. This forces two of the words immediately, one of which is BLURB.

Another way to prove blurb is at the edge:

There are only three B’s, but Four instances of them being used, so one has to be reused. as blurb has two B’s, one of them MUST be the resued letter. and as the grid is only five letters big and the words are five letters big, the B must be at the edge, so blurb must be at the edge!

… Please don’t ask how I worked that out.
